Strip Clubs safer than churches?

Melbourne, Australia: Australians seem to be safer inside a strip club than inside a church as reported by a recent study.

The South Wales Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research suggested in their recent study that 1600 people ended up getting charged with various offenses inside “places of worship” in the year 2008.

“Places of worship” include Christian churches, synagogues, monasteries, mosques, cathedrals, convents, and chapels.

These areas were reported to have 16 sexual offenses, 33 motor vehicles stolen, 10 liquor offenses, and seven resisting arrests. The highest compared to the other side.

The adult entertainment locations, on the other hand, only had 282 cases of offenses. The locations include sex shops,  strip clubs, brothels, homosexual clubs, massage parlors, and gaming houses and clubs.

According to the report, 85 people were assaulted inside church while only 66 people were assaulted in adult entertainment premises.

FOR THE RECORD…
Although the study represents two different groups, the results do not necessarily represent every entity involved.

The ‘church’ for example has been generalized without specifics on the number of offenses according to religion.

Breadpit continues to look for the details of the study to provide you a more in-depth look to this report.
