Defense player Simon Colosimo left Sydney FC to join the Korean team FC Seoul.

Colosimo, 31, is now under a loan deal with the Korean club. He flew to Korea since Sunday morning. This was after he won the A-League championship.

“I’m leaving on a very, very big high. I’ve achieved what I wanted to at Sydney FC and now it’s the next chapter of my career,” said Colosimo.

The athlete said he has realized his dream to play in a World Cup with Australia already and now it’s time to turn to another chapter of his playing career.

Simon Colosimo began his international career in 1997. He had his debut in the 1998 match against Fiji. He was still 19 at that time. In the next year, he was selected as a member of the 1999 FIFA World Youth Championship squad. He has achieved impressive points in his career. Now that he’s moved on, people expect him to excel more and more.
